as an artist: equals = drums, bass guitars, electric guitars, vinyl, samples, MPC2000XL, electronic devices, lightly salted trail mix. heavily psychedelic and trip-hop influenced.

as a dj: equals = 1200s, vinyl and occasionally digital sources. divided by = downtempo (trip-hop, instrumental hip-hop, jazz, electronic), golden/independent era hip-hop, dub reggae, funk, psych/progressive rock, post-punk/Factory Records, a ton more music+. multiplied by = previous efforts and guest apps at Saint-Ex, Velvet Lounge, Science Club, Breadsoda, Skewers, Wonderland and WMUC radio among other spots. but never subtracts the will to “be water” …to play and mesh as many different styles as possible in each and every one of his outings…from the equation.
