take a listen to The District. it's a mix featuring dubstep producers from the Baltimore/Washington metro area - as presented by Dan Amitai and DC Dubstep (free and available via download). i contributed a few vocals to the album and really think that the compilation is a beast of a listen from top-to-bottom (seriously). if you're looking for good dubstep or not sure what it is and need a solid intro, this is a great choice (imho).
